Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you," "your," or "Client") and Electric Domain Inc ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of our website and electrical services.
By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our website or use our services.
Services
Electric Domain Inc provides professional electrical services including but not limited to:
- Residential electrical installation, repair, and maintenance
- Commercial electrical services
- Electrical panel upgrades and replacements
- Lighting installation and repair
- Wiring and rewiring services
- Electrical safety inspections
- Emergency electrical services
Service Agreements
All electrical work requires a written estimate and signed service agreement before work begins. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified.
Scheduling and Appointments
Scheduling
Service appointments are scheduled based on availability. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred timing. Scheduled appointments are subject to change due to weather, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Cancellation Policy
We require at least 24 hours notice for appointment cancellations. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a cancellation fee. Repeated cancellations may result in the requirement of a deposit for future services.
Site Access
You are responsible for ensuring that our technicians have safe access to the work area. This includes:
- Clear access to electrical panels and work areas
- Safe working conditions free from hazards
- Pet restraint or removal from work areas
- Adult presence at the property during service
Pricing and Payment
Estimates
We provide free estimates for most electrical projects. Estimates are based on:
- Information provided by the client
- Visual inspection of accessible areas
- Current material and labor costs
- Expected scope of work
Final pricing may differ from estimates if actual conditions differ from those visible during the estimate, or if additional work is requested or required by code.
Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of service unless other arrangements are made in writing
- We accept cash, check, and major credit cards
- Larger projects may require a deposit before work begins
- Returned checks are subject to a returned payment fee
- Accounts over 30 days past due may be assessed a late fee
Price Changes
Prices for services may change without notice. Work authorized after a price change will be billed at current rates. We reserve the right to adjust pricing for unforeseen conditions discovered during project execution.
Work Standards and Permits
Code Compliance
All electrical work is performed in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local building codes. We obtain required permits and schedule inspections as needed for the scope of work.
Permitting
Permit costs, when required, are included in project estimates unless separately specified. Permit fees are set by local building departments and are subject to change by those authorities.
Inspections
Electrical work requiring permits will be scheduled for inspection by the appropriate building department. Work is considered complete only after passing required inspections.
Warranties
Workmanship Warranty
Electric Domain Inc warrants our workmanship for a period of one year from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects in installation under normal use conditions.
Equipment Warranties
Equipment and materials installed are covered by their respective manufacturer warranties. We will assist with warranty claims but are not responsible for manufacturer warranty decisions.
Warranty Exclusions
Warranties do not cover:
- Damage caused by misuse, negligence, or unauthorized modifications
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage from acts of nature, including lightning, flooding, or storms
- Issues arising from pre-existing conditions
- Work not performed by Electric Domain Inc
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Electric Domain Inc shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, or other intangible losses.
Our total liability for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Electric Domain Inc and its employees from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from:
- Your use of our services
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of any rights of another party
- Your provision of false or misleading information
Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Electric Domain Inc or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.
